Amsterdam meets Clasijazz

Clasijazz is a non-profit foundation created to promote music and arts from the province of Almería (Spain) to the rest of the world. It’s a space open to everyone since 1998, creating and improving this ambitious and enriching project.

Amsterdam Meets Clasijazz is a new annual event, which will take place on 4th August 2023. A festival that represents the meeting between some of the most internationally renowned jazz musicians of the national scene in Spain and the jazz scene in Amsterdam.

The goal is for these musicians to find a space where they can create and research together, and share their creations with the audience. The festival is designed under three core values that are, indeed, the principles of the Clasijazz mindset: Improvisation, accessibility, and cultural exchange.
